Ant-Man teases Civil War connection with new look

Does Ant-Man’s new Yellowjacket costume lead into Captain America: Civil War

This is all conjecture upon conjecture, but out of nowhere one Twitter user has gotten ahold of what they think might by  Darren Cross (Corey Stoll)’s Yellowjacket costume in Marvel’s Ant-Man.

The image is clearly taken from a monitor and the style is certainly similar to the Ant-Man test footage from San Diego Comic-Con a couple of years ago. Not that this proves anything.

What is interesting is how much the costume resembles the Iron Spider outfit given to Spider-Man after he joins Tony Stark’s pro-registration team in Marvel’s Civil War event – which will form the basis of Captain America 3.

Does this mean there’s going to be some Stark Industries involvement in the big bads of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that starts to drive a wedge between Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers?

After all, the original storyline’s flashpoint over secret identities won’t work in a universe without them…
