Marvel’s Ant-Man And The Wasp is gearing up for production at the end of this month, and another name has been added to the cast.
Deadline reports that the excellent Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight, Predators, Vice Principals) has joined Peyton Reed’s sequel in a role that’s currently being kept under wraps.
He joins the recently cast Randall Park (The Interview, Fresh Off The Boat, Office Christmas Party), who will be playing SHIELD agent Jimmy Woo, and Killjoys‘ Hannah John-Kamen, whose role is also unknown at present.
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will be leading the movie as Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, while Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, TI and David Dastmalchian will return as Hank Pym, Luis, Dave and Kurt respectively. Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari wrote the screenplay. Sharon Stone has been rumoured to be playing Janet Van Dyne, but that’s still unconfirmed.
There are no plot details as of yet, but it seems fair to assume that we might be seeing some news coming out of Comic-Con this weekend.
Ant-Man And The Wasp is released on 29 June 2018 in the UK and 6 July 2018 in the US. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
