Guys. GUYS. The first trailer for Alex Garland’s Annihilation (based on Jeff VanderMeer’s novel of the same name) is finally here, and honestly, it’s just wonderful. Check it out:
Annihilation stars Natalie Portman as a biologist attempting to understand her husband’s tragic disappearance by volunteering for a government expedition into an environmental disaster zone. However, she quickly discovers that the zone is holding in a dark force.
Gina Rodriguez (Jane The Virgin), Oscar Isaac (Ex Machina), Tessa Thompson (Creed) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight) are starring alongside Portman. Garland wrote the script, and Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich serving as producers.
