According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX are developing a real-time follow-up to Bret Easton Ellis’ classic serial killer/satire of 1980s excess American Psycho.
The series will pick up with Patrick Bateman in his 50s, “but as outrageous and lethal as ever – takes on a protege, in a sadistic social experiment, who will become every bit his equal, creating the next generation American Psycho.”
One would presume that FX will be ignoring American Psycho II: All American Girl. Please.
