Following this weeks new that Girls‘ Lena Dunham would be appearing in American Horror Story Season 7, a few more bits of info about the season have come to light at San Diego Comic-Con.
Firstly, the show isn’t faffing about with the season title reveal like it did last year with Roanoke. Season 7 is officially called American Horror Story: Cult, which sounds pretty damn awesome. Creator Ryan Murphy has previously stated that the new season was inspired by the 2016 UK presidential election, so it will be interesting to find out how that ties into the cult aspect of it.
Next, American Horror Story projected a spooky Comic-Con exclusive promo video over the water next to the venue, which you can watch here:

We have also already been treated to an air date: the season will premiere on 5 September on FX in the US.
Network FX also dropped a new website (ahs7.com) to accompany the show but, as ever, you can’t access it from the UK.
