Frances Conroy has revealed that she will appear in 10 of American Horror Story Season 3’s 13 episodes.

Speaking to Shock Till You Drop, the Six Feet Under actress dropped a couple of details on the “hush-hush” production.

“It’s going to start up again in July or August in New Orleans, I’ll be part that and will have a fairly  substantial part in it. I’ll be in 10 of the episodes of what I think will be a 13-part season. That will be interesting to see what’s written, the writers are so good and I can’t wait to see where it goes.”

When she was asked about the rumoured witchcraft storyline, she answered: “I know there’s been a little bit of teasing, they’re trying to keep it all hush hush so there are surprises.  I’m interested in seeing what world we’ll inhabit.”

Conroy played housekeeper Moira O’Hara in season 1 and the Angel of Death in season 2. She returns to season 3 with Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe, and newcomer Kathy Bates.
