Horror hit American Horror Story has been given the go ahead for season 2. The show, co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, has been averaging 4.2 million viewers a week across its first two airings in season one, and the network says it looks set to beat their season best records for all shows. The fourth episode has garnered the highest numbers yet in the key 18-49 demographic.
Blah, blah…this means it’s doing very well, and that the show will probably be around for a few years. Cable really seems like the place for exciting genre TV, right now. Centering on a family with a troubled past that moves into a house with a bloody history, we’ll have much more on American Horror Story in the next issue of SciFiNow.
