Hannibal could go to Amazon if NBC cancel

Amazon and other networks waiting to see if Bryan Fuller Hannibal is cancelled

HannibalHannibal Season 2 has not yet been announced, but if it is cancelled by NBC, Amazon and other networks are interested in picking up Bryan Fuller’s series.

According to Deadline, Amazon have been running repeats of Hannibal and would be interested in giving it a second season, as would another unnamed cable network. They report that early numbers for the show were very good but recent tapering off means that the decision was delayed. No discussions have taken place as NBC have not yet made their decision. The series is produced by Gaumont, which should mean that the relocation of the series wouldn’t be an issue if NBC decides not to renew it.

Hannibal is currently airing in the UK on Sky Living at 10pm on Tuesdays. You can buy Red Dragon in paperback for £5.99 at Amazon.co.uk.
