After a long wait, Karl Urban’s sci-fi cop show Almost Human finally has a UK broadcaster, and will air on Watch later this year.
THR reports that Almost Human, from JJ Abrams and fellow Fringe producer JH Wyman, has been nabbed by Watch, which is also showing Abrams and Alfonso Cuarón’s sci-fi drama Believe, which begins tonight at 9pm.
Almost Human stars Urban as an android-hating detective with temper issues and an artificial limb who is teamed with an android partner, played by Michael Ealy. The cast also includes Lili Taylor, Minka Kelly and Mackenzie Crook. It aired on Fox in the US.
