Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner took to twitter to tease a possible appearence for the Avengers sharpshooter in Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD.
Renner posted to his WhoSay account:
While they’re also shooting pickups for Avengers: Age Of Ultron (which would be a thoroughly boring solution to the puzzle), this also ties in with a suitably enigmatic post from Agents Of SHIELD bandleader Clark Gregg on his Facebook page:
Frankly, we’re surprised it’s taken this long. Hawkeye was introduced as a loyal SHIELD agent in 2011’s Thor, after all.
