ABC’s Agents Of SHIELD Season 1 has had a pretty bumpy ride. Starting poorly, it has slowly found its feet and gained a fanbase worthy of the Joss Whedon show’s Marvel legacy, and Agents Of SHIELD Season 2 is very much in everyone’s minds… even if it hasn’t been confirmed.
“You’ll see that with all the things we’ve introduced this season,” co-showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen told TV Guide. “We’re going to be tying up most of those things, as well as teeing up a few new things for Season 2. Some things will absolutely carry over.
“We’re very much teeing up Season 2,” confirmed co-showrunner Jed Whedon. “We’re optimistic that we’ll have a chance to tell more stories, so we’re leaning into the idea. We’re not wrapping it all up in a little bow.”
As for whether we’ll actually get that second season, and how that impacts on things…
“We’ll do a Kickstarter project to do a special movie or something,” said Tancharoen.
Agents Of SHIELD is airing now on Channel 4. You can buy Avengers Assemble on DVD for £10.99 or on Blu-ray for £14.99 from Amazon.co.uk.
