In a move that will come as a surprise to literally no one, ABC has announced that hit Marvel series Agents Of SHIELD has been renewed for Season 5.
But with Season 4 still airing in the US, we don’t know which characters will survive the finale and make it back for the next set of episodes. Only time will tell. There’s not much to say about it beyond that, really.
The series stars Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Mack, Jason O’Mara as Jeffrey Mace and Brett Dalton as Grant Ward.
It’s produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television, with co-creators Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen serving as executive producers alongside Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb.
