Netflix is keen as it gives A Series Of Unfortunate Events a third season

If you binged A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 1 the weekend it arrived on Netflix like we did, you were probably thrilled to learn that the show had been renewed for a second season less than a month ago.

In a marvellous turn of events, Netflix suddenly seem even keener to keep the story going: according to TV Line, the streaming service has just revealed that it’s gone and renewed the series for Season 3 too. It obviously realised it’s been sitting on a pile of gold.

Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events stars Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf, Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket, Louis Hynes as Klaus Baudelaire, Malina Weissman as Violet Baudelaire, Alfre Woodard as Aunt Josephine, Joan Cusack as Justice Strauss, Usman Ally as Hook-Handed Man, John DeSantis as Bald Man, Catherine O’Hara as Dr Georgina Orwell and K Todd Freeman as Mr Poe.
