A Quiet Place sequel release date bumped up

The release date for A Quiet Place 2 has been bumped up

Everyone loves A Quiet Place, but no one as much as Paramount Pictures: according to the folks at Bloody Disgusting, the studio has bumped up the sequel’s release date by two months.

The sequel to A Quiet Place will now be released on 20 March 2020, as opposed to the previously-announced date of 15 May 2020.

A Quiet Place, which told the story of the Aboott family as they attempted to survive the alien apocalypse, became an instant hit when it was released back in 2018. We’re hoping the same to be true for the second film.

John Krasinski is back to write and direct, and Emily Blunt (Mary Poppins Returns), Noah Jupe (Wonder) and Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck) are all set to return to reprise their roles as Evelyn, Marcus and Regan Abbott. Cillian Murphy has also reportedly joined the cast.

A Quiet Place was produced by Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.

The untitled A Quiet Place sequel will be in cinemas from 20 March 2020. Get all the latest horror news with every issue of SciFiNow.
