A Dark Song trailer for British horror performs a dangerous rite

Don’t break the rules in the trailer for LFF horror hit A Dark Song

Writer-director Liam Gavin’s A Dark Song got a great reaction at the London Film Festival last year so we’re very excited to discover that it will be hitting UK screens in the spring. Here’s the new trailer, although it looks like it might be one where you want to know as little as possible going in, so be warned…

Steve Oram (Sightseers, The World’s End, The Canal) and Catherine Walker (Leap Year, Patrick’s Day, Dark Touch) star in this new British horror about a determined young woman and a damaged occultist who risk their lives and souls to perform a dangerous ritual that threatens to blur the boundaries between this world, and the next…”

There’s great buzz around Liam Gavin’s feature debut and we’re really liking the contained and creepy look of this one. Additionally, we have made a solemn vow to watch anything the great Steve Oram is involved in, so we’d watch it in any case. The fact that it looks ace is, frankly, a bonus.

A Dark Song will be in cinemas Spring 2017 and available on Digital HD and DVD Summer 2017. Keep up with the latest horror news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
