A Cure For Wellness creepy viral clips tease Gore Verbinski’s horror

Relax and enjoy these sinister viral ads for Dane DeHaan horror A Cure For Wellness

We’re still a little way away from the release date for Gore Verbinski’s new horror A Cure For Wellness, but a couple of viral clips have been released and they’re definitely intriguing. While they don’t give away much about the film at all, they’re unsettling hints at the titular cure…

The film stars Dane DeHaan (Life After Beth, Chronicle), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter, Fury), Mia Goth (Nymphomaniac, The Survivalist) and Celia Imrie (Bridget Jones, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel).

DeHaan plays a young man who travels to the Swiss Alps to retrieve his boss from a wellness spa, but discovers that he’s disappeared. Goth plays a patient at the facility.

Verbinski may be best known for his mega-budget exploits with Jerry Bruckheimer like The Lone Ranger and the Pirates Of The Caribbean films, but his remake of The Ring was one of the best reimaginings of that period, and you know? We love Rango. It’s written by Verbinski’s Lone Ranger screenwriter Justin Haythe, who’s also responsible for Revolutionary Road, The Clearing and Snitch.

A Cure For Wellness is released on 17 February 2017 in the US and 24 March in the UK. Keep up with the latest horror news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
