Speaking at Yahoo!’s Man Of Steel fan Q&A, director Zack Snyder has perhaps confirmed the inclusion of Superman’s classic nemesis Lex Luthor in Batman Vs Superman for the first time, indicating that he’ll be focusing on the character’s view of himself as defender of humanity seen in the likes of Superman: Birthright, and not the classic evil genius.
“Lex loves calling [Superman] an alien,” Snyder said, “I like that.”
That was in a response to a question about people’s perceptions of Superman, so it could purely be academic. Watch the full exchange below:
