After dominating the US box-office over the weekend, Blumhouse Productions has announced that it will follow Insidious: Chapter 2 with Insidious 3, to be written by Leigh Whannell.
Variety reports that Whannell, who wrote the two Insidious films and the first three Saw films, has signed on to write Insidious 3, but the film will likely need to look for another director, with James Wan working on Fast & Furious 7, not to mention the fact that he’s stated that Insidious: Chapter 2 will be his last horror film.
