In the second major DC/Marvel crossover this week, Smallville‘s former Lex Luthor, Michael Rosenbaum, revealed on Twitter that he’s put himself forward for the role of Star-Lord in James Gunn’s cosmic Marvel movie Guardians Of The Galaxy.
“Read for my pal @JamesGunn GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY for PETER QUILL,” tweeted Rosenbaum.”What a treat! Thanks Jimmy. @Marvel”
The other big superhero turncoat is of course The Dark Knight Rises‘ Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is also rumoured to be pulling on the Bat-cowl for Warner Bros’ Justice League movie.
