Prolific writing duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci – whose many credits include Fringe, Alias, Star Trek and Transformers – are working on a TV show based on Washington Irving’s 1819 short story The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, memorably adapted as a movie by Tim Burton in 1999.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be “a modern–day supernatural thriller [following] Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil.”
The pilot, which is being put together by Fox, will be directed by Underworld and Total Recall big cheese Len Wiseman.
