Falling Skies Season 3 is go: Spielberg drama renewed

Noah Wyle drama Falling Skies will return next year for 10 more episodes. The show, which is one of the most popular on US cable, has established itself as a major hit on TV channels around the world, and a renewal looked likely when the show returned to over 4 million viewers on TNT last month. “Falling Skies is television storytelling at its very best, a powerful drama that’s told on both an epic scale and on a deeply personal level,” said TNT’s head of programming Michael Wright in a press release.
