Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On), the new Disney live-action reimagining of Lilo & Stitch is here and follows the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family.

The movie stars Maia Kealoha in her first role as Lilo, alongside Sydney Elizebeth Agudong (At Her Feet) who plays Nani, Billy Magnussen (Road House) as Pleakley, Tia Carrere (the voice of Nani in the original Lilo & Stitch movie) as Mrs. Kekoa, Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) as Grand Councilwoman, Chris Sanders who repirses his role as Stitch, Courtney B. Vance (Grotesquerie) as Cobra Bubbles and Zach Galifianakis (Ron’s Gone Wrong) as Jumba.
In our exclusive video interview, we sat down with Sydney Elizebeth Agudong to talk to her about playing Nani in the movie, her favorite moment from the animation, plus whether she spoke to Tia Carrere about the role and what it was like doing those emotional music scenes with Maia Kealoha who plays Lilo.
