James Cameron is inviting audiences heading back to the enchanting moon of Pandora for a third time this week in Avatar: Fire and Ash, an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family.
Check out the trailer here…
The film, which has a screenplay by James Cameron and Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.
We sat down with Stephen Lang, who plays Miles Quaritch in the movie (who in the first film, was a human colonel, but in the seques, return in a recombined Na’vi avatar body, carrying his memories) about whether he separates the first film with the sequels, what it’s like playing a complex antagonist, the relationship he likes the most and arguing with James Cameron on where to take the character.
