Get touching those stone folks because streaming now on MGM+ is Outlander: Blood of My Blood, the sweeping prequel to the long-running time-travel romance series, Outlander and explores the origins of Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser, following the love stories of their parents.

Set against the backdrop of early Jacobite uprisings and the First World War, Outlander: Blood of My Blood follows the two fated couples who must defy the forces that seek to tear them apart, unfolding in surprising and unforeseen ways.  

Hermione Corfield (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Jeremy Irvine (War Horse) star as Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp. Meanwhile, Harriet Slater (Pennyworth) and Jamie Roy (Condor’s Nest) play Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, the future parents of Jamie.

We sat down with Jeremy Irvine and Hermione Corfield to talk about the prequel show, what it was like filming the series in Scotland, drunken nights with the Outlander cast and… erm… midges up the kilt!
