TRON: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
The movie is directed by Joachim Rønning (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) and stars Jared Leto (Suicide Squad), Greta Lee (Russian Doll), Evan Peters (American Horror Story), Hasan Minhaj (It Ends With Us), Jodie Turner-Smith (After Yang), Arturo Castro (Road House), Cameron Monaghan (Shameless), and Gillian Anderson (Sex Education). Jeff Bridges (TRON, TRON: Legacy) will also be returning to the franchise.
