Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon is back for Season Two and sees Westeros on the brink of a bloody civil war with the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively. As each side believes theirs to be the rightful seat on the Iron Throne, the Green and Black trailers reflect those two perspectives in separate yet complementary halves of the same story. For global audiences, “All Must Choose” their side of House Targaryen as the realm fractures in season two.

Ahead of the series premiere this month, we sat down with House of the Dragon’s co-creator, showrunner and executive producer, Ryan Condal, to talk about the pressures of adapting the books, working with author George R. R. Martin and whether he’s influenced by reactions to the show online…

The eight-episode second season of House of the Dragon will debut exclusively on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW from 17 June.  Episodes will be released weekly on Sky & NOW with UK viewers able to watch each instalment available at the same time as the US at 2am.
