The Hills Have Eyes: Win the classic horror on 4K UHD!

Win a limited edition copy of Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes on 4K UHD with our latest competition…

The Hills Have Eyes 4K UHD

Released back in 1977, The Hills Have Eyes is one of director Wes Craven’s (Scream, A Nightmare On Elm Street) top works – bringing jump scares, gore and shocking horror in 90 minutes of pure thrills. Now the horror classic is being released on 4K UHD by Arrow Video and we’re giving a copy away!

For those that don’t know, The Hills Have Eyes follows the Carter family who, after taking an ill-advised detour en route to California, soon run into trouble when their campervan breaks down in the middle of the desert. Stranded, the family find themselves at the mercy of a group of monstrous cannibals lurking in the surrounding hills. With their lives under threat, the Carters have no choice but to fight back by any means necessary.

“It just reflects on Wes’s brilliance in writing, directing, and how he put the film together. It’s just very well executed, and it holds its own,” said Hills actor Michael Berryman when we spoke to him about the movie. “A lot of the more recent horror films go in and out with the fascination with splatter, special effects, etc., but Hills was just so well put together.

“It has everything: it’s got tension, it’s got the switch of the roles. Towards the end, the message is: how do you judge your humanity when you have to resort to violence? You get involved with every character – the good and the bad – and it’s very honest.”

This UHD limited edition of the movie features a brand new 4K restoration of the film, viewable with both original and alternate endings, 4K (2160p) UHD Blu-ray presentation in High Dynamic Range, six postcards, a reversible fold-out poster, a limited edition 40-page booklet plus audio commentaries, a documentary and more!
