Halo: Win Season One of the live-action adaptation on 4K

Win Season One of the live-action adaptation of Halo on 4K with our latest competition!

The first season of the live-action adaptation of Halo will be available on Digital, DVD, Blu-ray™, 4K Ultra HD™ and limited-edition 4K Ultra HD™ SteelBook®  on 14 November and to celebrate, we have a copy to give away on 4k!

Halo Season One takes place in the universe that first came to be in 2001 through the launch of Xbox’s first Halo videogame. After years of human civil war and growing political unrest, mankind’s very future is threatened when our outermost colonies intrude upon the sacred worlds of an alien threat known as the Covenant. As this fanatical powerful alliance destroys world after human world, only one soldier slows their advance – a cybernetically enhanced “Spartan” supersoldier, the Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber).

As the mystery of the Covenant’s true ambitions are revealed, the Master Chief must find a way to save humanity from the alien threat while also coming to terms with the secrets of his own enigmatic past…

“Season One [of Halo] is really the process of breaking down the symbol of Master Chief,” Schreiber told us when we spoke to him earlier this year. “Chief for the gamer is basically an avatar for himself. He’s a stand in where the character is created in an opaque and distant way so that you can fill in the subtleties of his personality with your own. So to make a TV show about a character like that, we felt it was important to break that relationship with the audience, the relationship that the audience has to the Chief, break that early on.

“So it was important to get the helmet off early, and to really establish him as a human being underneath all of this armour. The journey of the first season is Chief discovering some of his history and discovering for the first time what it feels to be human. By the end of the first season, I think we’ll be in a place where we can take him forward into different and interesting storytelling adventures, with what we’ve established from there.”

The action-packed five-disc collection box set for Season One features all nine episodes and over five hours of behind-the-scenes special features, including 75 minutes of exclusive content that takes viewers beyond the screen, providing a deeper look into the world of Halo.
