The next phase of the MCU is well underway right now (who else is loving The Falcon And The Winter Soldier?!) and we have been given an insight into one of the next movies to be part of that phase: Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings.

Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings stars Simu Liu (Taken TV series) as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organisation. The film also stars Tony Leung (Monster Hunt 2) as Wenwu, Awkwafina (The Farewell) as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery) as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Just Mercy) and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers. David Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984), Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Lanham (Just Mercy) wrote the screenplay for the film.
Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings opens in cinemas on 3 September 2021.
