Ti West is back with what looks like another bloodbath in the twisted world of X with Pearl, which follows the origin story of X’s iconic villain. The US had the movie last year but Pearl will be heading to UK cinemas this Spring.

Trapped on her family’s isolated farm, Pearl must tend to her ailing father under the bitter and overbearing watch of her devout mother. Lusting for a glamorous life like she’s seen in the movies, Pearl finds her ambitions, temptations, and repressions all colliding in this stunning, technicolor-inspired origin story.

Directed by Ti West (X) and written by Ti West and Mia Goth, the movie stars Mia Goth (A Cure For Wellness), David Corenswet (The Politician), Tandi Wright (The Returned), Matthew Sunderland (The Stranger), and Emma Jenkins-Purro (My Life Is Murder).
Pearl will be released in UK cinemas on 17 March.
