New Fantastic Beasts posters are everything we ever wanted

The beasts go front and centre of these new Chinese art posters for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

New posters for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them have been reasled alongisde the film in China and they are stunning.

Created using the traditional gongbi style, Chinese artist Zhang Chun has put the creatures as the front and centre of the pieces, opting to paint six individual posters for the Niffler, Demiguise, Bowtruckle, Occumy, Thunderbird and Swooping Evil.

The posters were presented to members of the cast and crew during their press tour of China, and we are incredibly jealous.

While Fantastic Beasts hasn’t done as well in China as it was expected, over 20 million people have bought copies of the Harry Potter books since they were first imported their in 2000 (three years after Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone was first released over here). They also bought out the entirety of the 300,000 print run of the Cursed Child script. So it’s safe to say that China love Harry’s world just as much as the rest of the world.

Fantastic Beasts has so far made $600 million world wide, coming in tenth in this years box office standing behind the likes of Captain America: Civil War (the current top performer until undoubtedly Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits cinemas in December), Deadpool and Suicide Squad. But there is still time for it to reach bigger heights as it has only been in cinemas worldwide for a few weeks.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is currently in cinemas. Find out all the latest with the current issue of SciFiNow, on sale now.
