Get ready for the judgement day. Arthur Fleck is on trial in Joker: Folie À Deux, the sequel to Todd Phillips’ 2019 Oscar-winning Joker. Phillips and main star Joaquin Phoenix are back for the follow-up movie and this time they’re joined by Lady Gaga.

The movie finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.
The film also stars Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Catherine Keener (Get Out), alongside Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), reprising her role from Joker.
Phillips, who was nominated for Oscars for directing, writing and producing Joker, is back on directing duties for Joker: Folie ÀDeux from a screenplay by fellow Oscar nominee Scott Silver (The Fighter) and Phillips. Lady Gaga served as music consultant.
Joker: Folie À Deux will be released in the UK on the 4 October 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures
