The UK release date has been announced for A24’s upcoming dark comedy, Death of a Unicorn, starring Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Jenna Ortega (Wednesday).

The story centres on a father and daughter who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties.
Directed by Alex Scharfman in his feature debut and executive produced by Hereditary’s Ari Aster, the film also features a notable ensemble cast, including Richard E Grant (Argylle), Will Poulter (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Téa Leoni (Madam Secretary), Anthony Carrigan (Gotham), and Sunita Mani (Spirited).
Death of a Unicorn is released in UK and Irish cinemas by Entertainment Film Distributors on 4th April 2025
