Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the Headless Horseman, the Phantom of the Opera, the Wicked Witch of the West —they’re all here in this beautifully presented collection of horror short stories that reimagine, subvert, and pay homage to our favourite monsters and creatures.
Edited by Weird Tales Magazine’s James Aquilone, Classic Monsters Unleashed features 25 new stories of classic monsters and famous creatures from some of the biggest names in horror — including Joe Lansdale, Jonathan Maberry, Seanan McGuire, Linda Addison, and Dacre Stoker — and emerging authors from an open call for submissions. Alongside an introduction by Kim Newman, the collection also features art by British Dark Artist Mister Sam Shearon (Clive Barker’s Hellraiser and Books of Blood) as well as comic book artist Colton Worley (Dynamite Entertainment).
