Warner ‘suffered’ with first Green Lantern trailer

Response was “lukewarm,” says Warner marketing president.

Didn’t like the first Green Lantern trailer? You weren’t alone, and it seemed that Warner noticed. Speaking to the LA Times, Sue Kroll, Warner’s worldwide marketing president, said that the lack of finished effects harmed the quality of the trailer. “Part of the reason the response to the first trailer was lukewarm was that the big-scale sequences weren’t ready to show, and we suffered for it,” she told the paper. “We can’t afford to do that again.”

The next trailer for the film will be attached to the upcoming flick Thor in May. Green Lantern opens in June.
