Today The Sun reported that The Sarah Jane Adventures is going to return for a fifth season, telling us that writers would explain the absence Elisabeth Sladen some how.
“Writers will find a way to complete the series without Sarah,” a source allegedly told the red top. “Fans will be thrilled to know it is returning.” This prompted Gareth Roberts to confirm on Twitter: “The story… re SJA is not true.”
The series was half way through filming the CBBC series when Sladen sadly passed away. It is unknown whether the completed episodes will ever air.
