Kate Beckinsale reprises her role as the PVC clad vampire Selene in Underworld Awakening, released January 20th 2012. This new video from IGN shows her infiltrating a building and planting a bomb as Detective Sebastian waits outside for her cue. The fourth installment in the series shows her awakened after 12 years trapped in cryogenic suspension to find that humans have discovered the existence of vampires and lycans.
Kris Holden-Ried plays Quint, a new type of lycan in the movie, told SciFiNow “He’s very spectacular and important to the future of his species. Kate (Beckinsale) and I had three days of filming in an underground parking garage, which just so happened to be the days when I was naked and covered in blood. And because of continuity I couldn’t sit down or put clothes on to cover myself so I’m stood there with an olive leaf, with Kate Beckinsale who was wearing all PVC. It was like some strange fantasy slash torture session. It made for interesting conversation over the water cooler,” he laughed.
