Following the massive success of Daniel Radcliffe-starring horror flick The Woman In Black, Hammer is working with Cross Creek Pictures and Alliance Films to create a sequel to the film. The Woman in Black: Angels Of Death is being made in conjunction with Susan Hill, writer of the original novella, who has been developing the story for a number of years. Screenwriter Joe Crocker is working on the script, which will see a couple encounter the spooky locale of Eel Marsh House 40 years after the events of the first story.
Hammer’s CEO Simon Oakes discussed the announcement in a press release. “We are proud and honoured to be working with Susan again on The Woman in Black: Angels Of Death, a wonderful new tale every bit as atmospheric and terrifying as its predecessor The Woman in Black.”
The Woman In Black made over $100 million worldwide.
