From Longlegs director Osgood Perkins’ comes The Monkey, which will be released in cinemas next year. The film is based on the short story by Stephen King, and produced by The Conjuring’s James Wan.

The movie follows twin brothers Bill and Hal who, when find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.
Written and directed by Osgood Perkins, the movie stars Theo James (The Time Traveler’s Wife), Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) and Elijah Wood (Bookworm).
The Monkey will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 21 February 2025
