Summit Entertainment has released a new trailer for The Darkest Hour, a 3D alien invasion flick set in Moscow. It’s directed by Chris Gorak and stars Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachael Taylor and Joel Kinnaman.

“We’re here during a record breaking heat wave, where it’s been over 100 º F every day,” Olivia Thirlby told SciFiNow during filming last year, “so hot that parts of the country were set on fire and filled the city with cosmic smoke and caused us to shut down. Now here we are two months later and it’s freezing cold.”
