Josh Gad’s Reunited Apart has brought together big names from some stellar genre films including Lord Of The Rings and Back To The Future to keep us sane during the current pandemic and the latest really was a delight for fans of the classic 1984 film Ghostbusters.
Gathering together an eye-wateringly impressive group of people from the film, the episode brought up some great anecdotes and made us reach straight for our copy to revel in some Eighties nostalgia.
Those involved in the episode included Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman and his son Jason (who will be directing the new Ghostbusters movie that is set to be released next year), as well as cast members Bill Murray (sporting a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man-inspired hat), Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts. There were even a few surprise appearances too but we won’t spoil it for you!
Topics discussed included classic stories from the set, the writing (and ad-lib!) process during filming and what some of the cast are up to right now.
