Just a few of the guests for the first ever Kapow! Comic Con in London were announced today. The convention takes place at the London Business Design Centre on the 9th-10th of April, 2011. Among the guests are comedians Frankie Boyle and Stewart Lee, as well as writer Mark Millar and artists Bryan Hitch, John Romita Jr. and Frank Quitely, with more to be announced in the coming months. TV and film guests will be announced on February 14th.
In addition, the first ever Stan Lee Awards will be presented at the show on the 9th. Lee had this to say about the awards in a press release. “This is a fantastic platform to reward the cream of comic book talent for all their creativity and imagination throughout 2010, which has brought us so much entertainment and inspiration”.
