Dead Space 3 may have been accidentally revealed by a South African retailer. Listed earlier by BT Games as Dead Space 3, now changed to the ‘Latest release in the Dead Space franchise’, the game has been hinted at frequently during the last few months, with the most detailed rumour stating that the game takes place on an ice planet known as Tau Volantis. It is about the time for a Dead Space 3 reveal – EA tends to release new franchise installments every two years, and Dead Space 2 released in January 2011. Adding fuel to the fire is BT Games’ history with game reveals, after they leaked the existence of PS3 title Jak and Daxter HD Collection before it was announced.
EA hasn’t had the best luck with big game reveals of late, after the company’s Origin store showed off Crysis 3 a week before its full announcement.
For reference, we gave Dead Space 2 five stars upon release, one of the only three videogames of 2011 to get that score.
