Mark Margolis has landed a role on Constantine, and will be making his entrance in Season 1 episode 10, “Quid Pro Quo“. The episode is due to air on 23 January on US channel NBC and Amazon Instant Video soon after.
Margolis has recently starred in Noah, American Horror Story: Asylum and Breaking Bad, the last of which earned him an Emmy nomination for his turn as mute ex-drug runner Hector Salamanca.
On Constantine, Margolis will be playing supervillain Felix Faust. A hand-to-hand combat expert and master sorcerer, Faust made his first DC universe appearance in Justice League Of America #10 in 1962. Since then, the character has mostly been connected to the Justice League. However, Faust was revamped with The New 52, and is known to have had run-ins with John Constantine in the past.
Constantine returns to NBC on 16 January. You can stream Constantine episodes 1-8 now with Amazon Instant Video. To find out more about the comics that inspired the show, grab a copy of the 100 All-Time Greatest Comics bookazine!
