More Bill and Ted news dudes!
Not only has a new trailer been unveiled for the third Wyld Stallyns movie (below), but news has been released that Bill And Ted Face The Music will be available both in theatres and on-demand on 1 September. Originally scheduled to be released on 21 August, this move means audiences can choose to either see the film in cinemas (if they’re open), or from the comfort of their own homes. Excellent!
Almost 30 years since their last outing in Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are back in the iconic roles, as is William Sadler as Death. The film is also set to introduce Ted’s daughter Billie Logan and Bill’s daughter Thea Preston for the first time. The characters are played by Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical) and Samara Weaving (Ready Or Not, The Babysitter) respectively.
The film will also star Erinn Hayes as Ted’s wife Princess Elizabeth Logan, Jayma Mays as Bill’s wife Princess Joanna Preson, Holland Taylor as the Great Leader and Kristen Schaal as messenger Kelly, as well as Kelly Carlin, Anthony Carrigan, Kid Cudi, Jillian Bell, Hal Landon, Amy Stoch and Beck Bennett.
Bill And Ted Face The Music is also written by original Bill And Ted writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon and will be directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest).
Bill And Ted Face The Music is due for release on 1 September.
