College Humor has recently posted a video that compares the similarities between JJ’s Star Trek and Lucas’ A New Hope. It’s quite funny, so we thought we’d share it.

A few things first, though.

1) SPOILER ALERT.

2) It’s funny, but not clever. A great number of films use similar devices and follow identical structures. It’s not as if A New Hope was totally original anyway…

3) Really want to watch A New Hope again now.
