Scream writer Kevin Williamson has hinted to fans that Neve Campbell will not be returning in any capacity for a relaunch of the slasher franchise. As reported by Bloody Disgusting, Williamson said this in a recent post on his Twitter page:
Wes Craven, the director of all three Scream films, has been speaking about the possibility of his involvement in a fourth entry for the popular slasher franchise.
Wes Craven has said that his lack of involvement with the upcoming remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street has been a painful experience, despite the fact that he has come to terms with the fact that he had to sell off the rights to the franchise years ago.
