Kevin Reilly, the president of entertainment at Fox, recently fielded a conference call from journalists asking about the decisions that led to the controversial renewal of Dollhouse and the cancellation of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
In a surprising move, Fox has reportedly renewed the ailing freshman show Dollhouse for a second season, surprising many outlets who had previously written it off as a lost cause.

The season finale of Dollhouse slumped in its ratings once more last Friday, further cementing the distinct possibility of cancellation when Fox announces its shows for next year on 18 May.
