Filming is underway on Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers, the follow-up to Tusk, and the film has just released its first still.
THR revealed the first look at Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith and Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose Depp as the film’s heroines, reprising their roles from Tusk. Depp himself will also return as his character from that movie, alongside the 15 year olds.
Yoga Hosers “centers on two teenage yoga nuts who have an after-school job at a Manitoba convenience store called Eh-2-Zed. When an ancient evil rises from beneath Canada’s crust and threatens their big invitation to a 12th-grade party, the Colleens join forces with a legendary man hunter from Montreal named Guy Lapointe (Depp) to fight for their lives with ‘all seven chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time,’ according to the producers.”
XYZ co-founder hints at possible future movies, saying “It is a broad commercial movie that could really break out and become a franchise. I know that Kevin, the girls and Johnny all want it to be something more than just a one-off movie.”
