The previous rumours that producer and original X-Men director Bryan Singer is stepping up to replace Matthew Vaughn, who is stepping down as director but staying on as producer, on the X-Men: First Class sequel have become concrete.
Joining Singer on X-Men: Days Of Future Past will be an unconfirmed number of original cast members – although Patrick Stewart, the original Professor Xavier previous threw his hubcap into the ring – presumably to play older members of the Sixties cast in the classic comic-book’s future-set scenes.
X-Men: Days Of Future Past is expected in cinemas in 2014, and there’s a lot more coming in future issues of SciFiNow.
X-Men: First Class is available on DVD for £5 and on Blu-ray for £8 from Amazon.co.uk.
